Spirit of the Bunyip is a community Landcare-based program which aims to create 100 kilometres of habitat biolinks from the head of the Bunyip River and Cardinia Creek to the coast of Western Port.
The program’s focus is to optimise government investment in the area and recruit corporate partners who are also looking for opportunities to invest in an effective environmental program.
It involves landcare groups, councils, landholders and businesses working together to make this vision possible.

it’s what they knew at the time. I can see the benefits of
putting some of the trees back in the ground.”
